Lisa Jackson-Akers was awarded the prestigious Michelle M. Tennell Indiana JDAI Champion award at last week's Indiana Youth Justice Conference. This award was established to honor an individual who serves locally or at the state level and demonstrates qualities of purpose, leadership, and an authentic love for the work of JDAI and serving Indiana’s youth. Lisa has served as the JDAI Coordinator for the Marion Superior Court since 2020.
