County, municipal, and tribal governments are invited to apply for an innovative 12-month strategic planning process to evaluate their current pretrial systems and develop actionable plans to improve outcomes and enhance community safety. Selected sites will collaborate with experienced pretrial experts from Advancing Pretrial Policy and Research (APPR). They will evaluate their current system, select practical changes, develop an implementation plan, and explore opportunities to conduct research on selected changes.
