POPAI Honors Members at the 2026 Fall Conference

POPAI was proud to recognize members celebrating 10 and 25 years of service during the 2026 Fall Conference. The Association also honored Rachel Yancey of Wells County as the 2026 Rookie of the Year and Shelby-lain Brown of Clark County as the recipient of the 2026 Founders Award.

Congratulations to all of this year’s honorees, and thank you for your dedication and service to probation in Indiana.


The Probation Officers Professional Association of Indiana, Inc. was established in 1985 by a group of Chief Probation Officers from throughout Indiana who were concerned about soaring caseloads, low pay, and dangerously high probation officer turnover in the State of Indiana.
