The Indiana Supreme Court will hold an investiture ceremony for its newest member, Justice Christopher Goff, at the Indiana statehouse next week.
Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb will administer the ceremonial oath to Goff, the court’s 110th justice, during a ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, in the Supreme Court courtroom. The ceremony will also feature remarks from the current members of the Supreme Court bench, and Goff’s official courtroom photograph will be unveiled.
Goff, a former Wabash Superior Court judge, officially joined the high court on July 24 after a private ceremony, where Chief Justice Loretta Rush administered the official oath. Goff was joined at that ceremony by Rush and justices Steve David, Mark Massa and Geoffrey Slaughter, as well as his wife, Raquel, and three of his children.
