Cara has served as a juvenile probation officer for the Know County Probation Department since 2007. She obtained an Associate's degree from Vincennes University in Law Enforcement, and a bachelor degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University. She is currently enrolled as a graduate student at Indiana State University. She is presently working on her Master's Degree in Criminology at Indiana State University and teaching criminal justice classes at Vincennes University in the evening.
