Justice and healthcare professionals in rural communities face unique challenges, including scarce resources, red tape, and isolation. We invite you to attend the Summit for Rural Justice & Public Health Professionals on Friday, October 13, at the Honeywell Center at 275 W. Market Street in Wabash, Indiana, to learn about opportunities for collaboration, resources, and strategies to meet the unique needs of rural professionals. The Summit is made possible through cross-branch and cross-disciplinary partnerships between the Indiana Supreme Court, the Wabash County Bar Association, the Association of Indiana Counties, the Court of Appeals of Indiana, the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, Indiana University, Indiana Justice Reinvestment Advisory Council, the Indiana Department of Health, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Indiana, and the Office of Governor Holcomb. Funding support provided by the State Justice Institute, Grant No. SJI-22-T-046, the Indiana Supreme Court, and the Wabash County Bar Association.
Register online at the 2023 Summit for Rural Justice & Public Health Professionals. Attendance is limited to the first 350 who register for the event. There is no registration fee to attend.
A light continental breakfast will be available. Lunch is provided to attendees who reserve lunch. Travel expenses, like mileage or hotel overnight, will not be reimbursed. Free parking is available.
