I am very excited about 2017! Attached you will find the 2017 IDOC Community Corrections Training Calendar. The calendar can, also, be found on the IDOC Community Corrections website and will be on SharePoint in the near future. I will send out emails as we are requesting registrants for each of the trainings.
Also, I wanted to give you a little more information on the Community Supervision Academy. Attached you will find the agenda of how the classes are broken down. For the first two weeks, the academy will be a collaborative academy. All material has been geared toward community corrections custody staff, field officers, case management and probation. All the material will be relevant to everyone. The third week the two days is separated. The community corrections custody staff will be in one classroom and field officer, case managers and probation officers will be in a separate classroom. If you have any questions, please, do not hesitate to contact me.
I have included our updated Procedural Bulletin #9 for training as well. It outlines the different types of trainings, class sizes, etc.
