The 2015 POPAI Line Probation Officer of the Year Award was presented to Elizabeth Starck of Clark County Probation. Elizabeth has been with Clark County Probation for nearly 10 years. Her Chief Probation Officer Jamie Hayden stated, “Elizabeth has always been one of the first to volunteer when a new assignment is handed down. A few years ago she took on the duty of being our Interstate Compact office. She takes the time to volunteer in other areas of her life….after the Haitian earthquake, she went with a team of volunteers to assist in the relief effort.” Judge Joseph Weber stated, “She is one of the best probation officers I have had the pleasure of working with because she is diligent in her duties, and tremendously passionate about helping her clients succeed. She has gone above and beyond basic expectations to be helpful to her supervisors and colleagues. She is fully deserving of this award.”
