The Indiana Supreme Court will introduce a new case type into the state’s uniform case numbering system at the start of the new year.

The court amended Administrative Rule 8 last week to add a new juvenile case type, JQ, that will serve as the classification for child protection order cases. Other protection order cases will be classified under the existing PO case type.
