Why Should I Join POPAI?
Our statement of purpose is to "support, promote, and encourage quality probation services in the interest of public safety and service to the Courts of the State of Indiana." The Executive Board of the Association and general membership feel this can only be accomplished through a high degree of "Professional Unity."

POPAI has grown in many ways since our inception. We sponsor periodic training opportunities, an Annual Fall Training Conference, Chief Probation Officers' Summit, legislative oversight and lobbying, interaction with Corporate Members, this web site and much more!
It is important that you as a probation professional (current or former Probation Officer, Support Staff, or Intern) support and participate in YOUR association. There is no other organization in the State of Indiana whose sole purpose is to work on behalf of Probation and YOU. Many of our members have been part of POPAI for more than a decade.
